New England Brewery Guide

About and method

Last reviewed: October 17, 2026

This is a small, independent, non-commercial guide for beer fans who want to follow new releases from smaller independent New England breweries and plan a visit. It is not sponsored, carries no ads or affiliate links, and no brewery paid to be listed.

What goes in a listing

Which breweries

We include smaller breweries that appear to be independently owned, in Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine, Connecticut and Rhode Island. We leave out large national or regional brands and breweries that are owned by, or have merged into, larger multi-brand groups. Independence is judged from public information and can change; this is a best-effort judgment, not a certification. Presence or absence here is not a ranking or an endorsement, and we do not claim this list is complete.

Releases

Release entries come from brewery release pages or announcements. Some breweries post releases only on social media or in pages that need scripts to load, so many breweries show no release entries yet. Dated entries appear only when the brewery's page gives a date. Undated entries are shown separately.

Corrections and updates

The listings are refreshed on a schedule and the oldest entries are re-checked first. A way to suggest corrections is coming soon; until then, rely on the brewery's own site for the latest information.

Please drink responsibly

You must be 21 or older to purchase or drink alcohol in the United States. Do not drink and drive.
